Simeon Goldflux and the Emeralds of Power

2D top-down "RPG" game:

Deep in the Emerald Enigma Woodlands there is a small cabin. In that cabin lives Simeon Goldflux, a young wizard who is in the search of the “Emeralds of Power”.

Simeon came upon the existence of the emeralds when one dark night he was hooked reading a particularly old manuscript in the ancient section of the wizard's tower.

According to legend, the emeralds are some rare magic stones which gives the user who holds them tremendous magical power. It is said that holding all of the stones will give the holder abilities not seen before, and will make him the most power wizard of all.

Simeon managed to decipher the manuscript and got the location of the emeralds, in the Emeralds Enigma Woodlans (now know as the “Green Lands”). Upon reaching the woodlands he found that he isn't the only wizard in the area. There are some strange wizards with some bizzare tunics who are desperately trying to get hold of the emeralds and won't hesitate to eliminate anything or anyone who stands in their way.

Now Simeon has a clear purpose in his life. He needs to collect all of the emeralds before those wizards and make sure that their power won't be used for anything that will put in the danger the life of all of the realm.
